New Design Team

Hello Crafty Friends, I know it may seems like forever since my last post. I  told you in the previous post that I have joined two New Design Teams, well it is actually three now.
The first Design Team
I am on is  Srappin Chics Challenge Blog. This group does three projects a month well as of right now. She will be changing things up after the New Year. (Jen Roseman)She gives us a theme and then we have to make three different projects but using the same theme. Be sure to check out the Scrappin Chics Blog and if you take on the challenge, use the links to post it so you can win the prize that my Design Team leader Jenn Roseman is giving away.
So the THEME for this month is HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS! So I decided to make Home Decor for this month. I worked really hard to make these. I did have some help from my friend Tina (also known as CRAFTY AND GREEN) and my husband Chris. They gave me some pointers.. like my bow was to small and my flowers were to big. So I changed it up and these wreaths turned out awesome.  So here is the finish project!

I made these FIVE wreaths using Flower Shoppe Cartridge on the  Cricut.

The flowers were cut at 1.7 Inches and I used little red Rhine stones for the middle part of the wreath.  I went in the dollar section at Micheal's and found little pine cones and chipboard mistletoe. These wreaths are actually garland and I just coiled it up and made wreaths.

Well I hope you all like these and please take the time to stop over at my New Design Team and check out what the other fabulous Designers made for this Team. The next project will be posted in a couple of weeks. Also after the Holidays I will announce the other fabulous teams that I am on. Also in the up coming months I will be participating in Blog Hops and swaps.. So stay tune... a lot of exciting creations and GIVEAWAYS..
Hope you all have a Great Crafting Day!
Please leave some love and stop over at Scrappin Chics Challenge Blog...

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Blog Hop

Welcome and Good Morning to another wonderful day for a hop. You should have came from My Cricut Craft Room .

So I wanted to make something for Christmas to share to you so you can make one before Christmas is over plus you can use this year after year and maybe one day pass it off to your children.

Here it is.....

I made this Advent Calender using four Cartridges..they were Gingerbread,Snow Angel, Just Because Cards, and Alphalicious.

The envelopes were cut at 3 inches. The two Snowmen were cut at 4 inches and the Big Snowman was cut at 7.8 inches and the Christmas Tree was cut 7.9 inch.

I wanted to use Velcro to close the envelopes but they kept opening so I was like forget it so I left it open.
I am going to place little scriptures from the Bible in them and what a better way to teach your children the words of the Bible. The last one I will place a piece of paper to a clue to a present.

Here is another Advent calender that I have made. I used Trim The Tree, and Just Because Cards, and Alphalicious for the wording same with the above Calender.

The ornament was cut at 8 inches and the envelopes were also cut at 3 inches and I added some pretty embellishments and decorated it.

Here is another close up of the side view.

I have made two more but you will have to see how I finished them.  So don't forget to stop by to see the other two Beautiful Advent Calanders tomorrow for day 2 of this hop and yes I used two more cartridge to make these Calendars.

Here are sneek Peeks of them...

Well thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a fantastic Crafting day!

Next Hop to the Fantabulous Jen L.

Here is the line up just in case you get lost on your way!

Imagine-ation Monday

Hello blogger friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Man where did the time go?? So fast Christmas will be here in no time.
I know I haven't been posting much lately, I just lost my favorite Aunt last Monday and I have been feeling quite down lately. I know she is in a better place but I miss her dearly. Today is the funeral and I am dreading to go.. I lost my grandfather 16 months ago and now this. I just had to thank everyone who has been so kind and thoughtful. You all will see a lot more cool projects that I will be doing in the upcoming weeks.

Over at My Cricut Craft Room . Today is Imagine-ation Monday. This is where we can use the cartridges, or the paper and make something out of that.

So I had came up with this super cool and fun ornament. This was so easy and it came out beautiful. The two cartridges that I used were Mother's Day Bouquet and Santa Villiage. I am just really in aw with that Santa Village I just love it!

Here are my ornaments

Instructions: I use the Santa village for the paper. (NOTE: Did you know that you can use the paper and make it a double sided page..How cool is that! )

These are the two pages I chose.

I then scored the sheet of paper at every 1/2 inch. Then you fold it like a fan then I cut down the paper from 12 inches to 6 inches.

Then I added twine as the hoop to hold the ornament on the tree.

I wanted to make the pictures so you can see the detail

Hope you all have a great week and Have a great crafting day!

Theme Day Thursday

Hey There, Thanks for stopping by and checking out my Blog. I wanted to share a cool tip that I had read about in a card magazine. Can't remember off the top of my head what magazine it was. This tip is for people who want there images to smell. For example: An Orange that you created for a Layout or card, to make it smell like an orange what you need to do is; take orange Kool-aid and mix it with white embossing powder. Take versamark stamp pad and then poor the embossing powder over your image and heat then whala it smells like orange.  Pretty cool.
I just wanted to give you something helpful. I hope this was something new that you can use.
So if you are making little Ginger Bread men or women you can use cinnamon to make them smell delicious.
Over at My Cricut Craft Room it is Theme Day Thursday. The Theme is Oceans/Animals.
The  three Cartridges I  had used  was Cindy Loo, Lovely floral and Create a Critter.

I made a pocket Birthday card for my son. He will be turning two next Wednesday. I can not believe how fast time went. Feels just like yesterday I gave birth to him. He is such an amazing little guy.. My kids rock. Haley is such a great big sister to Ethan. I am one blessed mommy.

Well thank you for stopping by remember to leave some love!!

Giving Back Blog Hop

This hop is for My Sister-in-law who is my Design Team Leader and Best Friend.   You should have come from Heather Flarherty blog.  If you are starting at my blog, you will want to start with Kat’s Blog so you don’t miss any of the great layouts. When you get done hopping, you will want to go to Erica’s Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/EricasCraftRoom) and leave a comment on her page. We will be randomly selecting someone from those comments to win blog candy.

Erica does a lot for many people out there. She supports the Military and their Families and had people from all over the world  make cards for the soldiers to give to there families.  This project was called  Operation Write Home.
The most wonderful thing that she recently did was for the children at St. Jude's who has cancer and are very ill. She had 4,500 cards to give to the children and so many people made this happen! This touches my heart because I am a mother who has a sick child and had to wait for Ethan to get a liver transplant and I had to live in the Ronald McDonald House for 9 months .  I know what it feels like to just open a card and see that someone cares, because you are at your last straw and the days seem dark and then you open a card and that card just makes a huge difference knowing  that there are people who care! I am so lucky to be married to her brother and be able to be close to her. We have our sister moments (Giggle) but we get over them pretty quickly. If there was an award for the most giving crafter I would pick her. I'm not just saying this because I am her sister-in-law but because I see what she does for her design team. We spent eight hours just last night goofing off and it was so much fun on ustream! I love that we can joke and have a good time because we all need to laugh. It's therapeutic, well for me it is.
Well on that note here is what I made for her book...

The blank frame is where I am going to put my wedding picture that has the two of us in it. She was my Maid of Honor. Her favorite paper is Bo Bunny so I wanted to use that paper to make her Layout!
Erica I love you and you mean the world to me.. You are an amazing Women!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and be part of this wondeful Hop!

The next stop on the hop is Judith ashmore

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome crafty friends. If you came from  Sharon If you are one of my 64 followers and happened upon this hop you will want to start at the beginning so you don't miss out on all of the wonderful creations and goodies! All weekend, My Cricut Craftroom is showcasing over 100 different Cricut Cartridges.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So for this Blog Hop I wanted to share my envelope Christmas Book. I actually made this for one of my fellow Design Team  Member. This book is for KAT(Kathleen Schriber)  who made me an Awesome Boo Book for Halloween..Which I will have out on my dresser all year long because I love it that much!
Now before I show you this I want to explain what an envelope Book is. This book is made out of envelopes. Instead of buying Envelopes I actually recycled my envelopes that my bills came with.
Here is my Book; Hope you like it.
I used Trim The Tree Cartridge to make the Wreath and used the Merry Christmas Stamp sentiment (Pink By Design).
I made the Front and back of the book with cereal boxes and then covered it with paper. ( My Minds Eye Lost and Found) Erica gave me a whole stack of the 6x6 and told me I better use every bit of it and guess what I DID!!
I used Lovely Floral Cartridge to make the picture frame.
The tag that I made was also made from Lovely Floral and my Peppermint Flowers were made from flower shoppe.
The peppermint candy journal tag was made from Sweet shoppe and the Picture frame was made using Cindy Loo.
The banner/tag is actually made out of the Chic and Scary . (Note: Even though a cartridge may be for a different holiday you can still"like Erica says think out of the box", with them.  I also used (Pink By Design) stamps Berry Merry Christmas; for the Two bears.
I had to do one more picture.
Well this is my Christmas Book that I made for Kat. Tina (Crafty and Green) would be proud of me because I reused a lot of my scraps. She lives by living and being green. Don't forget this is a two day event so don't forget to visit tomorrow to see what the other Design Team Came up with. You will NOT be disappointed..I promise!
Thank you for stopping by my blog...Next you should visit is the most Fabulous and talented HOLLY
