Scrappie EMT Design Team Challenge ~Ribbons/ Lace

Looks who's Back...
I am!! Finally right. If you haven't heard that  my son has been life flighted to Cincinnati Children's due too Upper Respiratory Failure. He was on the ventilator for almost a month. Now the doctors are letting his body heal and then they will take his tonsils  and adenoids out. Ethan is only 2 and is also 11 months post transplant.  So I have been busy taken care of him and while I am here my husband brought all my crafting supplies so I can be stress free at night and have ME time.
This week's challenge is to come up with something with Ribbons or Lace.  For this project I wanted to do something a lot different. So I decided to try and make this cool Triangle Fold card.
I got this idea from a lady name Janice on You Tube.. I get inspired by watching and learning different Card Fold Techniques on You Tube and then my creative juices flow and then I make my own.
Here is my Finish Ribbon/Lace Creation.....

Directions how to make a Triangle Fold Card:

*Take a 11x11  sheet of Designer Paper Or Card stock.(Note: DOES NOT HAVE TO BE DOUBLE SIDED)

*Fold the paper in half point to point

*Place your paper horizontal flat and score at the 3 and 51/2 inches and then repeat by flipping your paper and do the other side.

* Score from top of the triangle diagonally... (Note: Use the Martha Stewart Score board tool that came with you score board.
*Cut off two areas that cross from the scoring lines
* Fold ALL score lines using a bone folder tool to get  crisp crease.

* Make squares by folding one of the side pieces down by opening it and smush it down. (Note: These squares are 2 inch's each)

Then the last part of this card is the fun part.. DECORATE...

I decorated the inside by making a flower using the Cuttlebug Quilling Kit. These kits are awesome....

Here is a video just in case you wanted to see Miss Janice's Cards.. She has more examples that she did.. they are adorable cards... I made my nephew one these cards for his Birthday!!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like this card and this is very simple so even if you are a beginner at card making you will love making this as well.

Don't forget to leave some love by letting me know what you think. Also don't forget to stop by SCRAPPIE EMT Blog to see what the Design Team had made as well....
